Enio Cordoba. Studio Owner and Director

Studio Owner & Director Enio Cordoba has been dancing since 1972. As an amateur dancer he won the United States Latin Championship and danced in 2 World Championships in London in 1979 and Stuttgardt in 1980 placing 17th.

Major Dance Titles:

As a professional he won the California, Texas, Florida, and United States Rising Star Professional Championships. In his first professional Blackpool he made the quarterfinalround of 24. After retiring from the International scene he won the Cabaret Division at the World Swing Championships and was 4th at the US Swing Championships. As the pro 1/2 of a Pro/Amateur partnership he won the US Pro/Am Championship.

Industry Recognition:

Among the most in demand Salsa teachers in the world, Enio has received two coveted Feather Awards (like the Academy Awards for dancers) three times- twice as the Hottest Mambo Dancer and once as the Top Teacher. In 1998 Enio taught at the prestigious World Dance Congress in Blackpool, the European Salsa Congress, the Dutch Professional Congress, the Belgian Dance Congress, and has taught in Spain, Austria, Italy, Germany, Latvia, Slovakia, Canada plus many times in London. In 1999 he taught at the German Congress in Frankfurt and returned to Blackpool for the World Social Dance Congress.

Television,Video, Motion Picture:

In 1982 Enio was asked to choreograph the dancing for Mr. Mister's video Broken Wings which subsequently went #1 on MTV. In 1987 Enio choreographed and danced in a commercial for PIM pantyhose. In 1998 Enio was asked to teach Director Randa Haines prior to the filming of Dance With Me. Subsequently he was brought in as special assistant choreographers to train various members of the cast including Vanessa Williams, Chayenne, Joan Plowright, Harry Groener, Scott Paetty, and Jane Krakowski. Enio and Terryl can be seen in many scenes throughout the movie and helped choreographed much of the dancing behind the scenes. They can be seen in the current Chevrolet Impala commercials appearing on Spanish networks.

Ice Skating:

During the ESPN televised broadcast of 1996 Figure Skating Nationals, World and Olympic Champion Dick Button called Twyla Tharp/Drew Carey Show choreographer Keith Young and Enio, the two hottest choreographers in Ice Skating today. He has choreographed for two separate World Professional/US Amateur Champion couples- Rene Roca & Gorsha Sur and Elizabeth Punsalsan & Gerald Swallow, pros Kim Callahan/Jim Yorke, Lia Trovati/Russ Witherby, and US Amateur Ice Dance Champions Sargent/Witherby, and US Pairs Champions Meno/Sand, and US Junior Champs Gregory/Shufert among many others. He currently choreographs for US #3 couple Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukov.

Robert Cordoba

7 Time US Swing Open Champion and winner of the N.A.S.D.E. title for 3 years running for winning the most events in one year. A powerful showman on the swing dance circuit, Robert Cordoba is an inventive; professional swing dancer and instructor. Robert is a veteran dance competitor, first appearing on the swing dance circuit in 1990. Robert capitalizes on over 20 years of training and performing in Ballroom and Latin. He combines a powerful refined style with a wide variety of polished open and closed movements. To his credit Robert has performed in numerous shows and commercials, and continually travels and teaches nationally, and after years of competitive dancing abroad, has recently returned after being based in New York for much of 98 and 99.

Brigitte Ryerson

Our Rueda & Salsa specialist Brigitte started as a student at Let's Dance in 1998. Having worked her way through all our levels and starring as an anchor on our Youth Dance Team, Brigitte is well trained in Salsa and Casino Rueda. She also competes in International Latin

Kristy Rivers

Born in Queensland, Australia, Kristy has been involved in the dance world practically since birth. Her well-known and respected dance family includes: Father, Ray Rivers, former World Championship Finalist, International Coach and Adjudicator; Brothers Matt and Jason, Both International competitiors with finalist and championship status; and sister, Toni Redpath, the reigning 4-times U.S. National Smooth Champion and Finalist in World Classic Showdance.

Kristy¹s competition experience began at age 10. She has multiple pre-teen and junior titles from Australia, and as an amateur, has placed first in several prominent U.S Latin championships. She turned pro at 19 and now teaches, competes and performs nation-wide and overseas.  She has been a Rising Star Latin Champion at such U.S. competitions as the San Diego dancesport, Dancer¹s Curcuit Cup, Colorado Star Ball and a finalist 2 years running in the North-American National Championships as seen on TV, in addition to being a finalist in the Open Latin division.
Kristy has also been a performer and choreographer for stage shows, film and cruise ship shows, including a featured spot in the acclaimed dance film, ŒDance with me¹ featuring Vanessa William. Also was featured on ESPN as a instructor for the show ŒI¹d do Anything.¹
Kristy has completed three contracts performing productions shows with singers & dancers for Royal Caribbean as a guest entertainer with her partner Tony Pututau. Kristy has also performed and choreographed on other cruise lines, Raddison & Silverseas cruises.

Lauren Calderoni

Lauren first started as Brian Cordoba's partner in the 2nd grade! Trained by Terryl, Enio and Robert, she became one of the founding members of Let's Dance's SALSAtional! Dance team. Equally proficient in Salsa, Latin and Swing, Lauren teaches the West Coast Swing Classes when Robert is out of town and is fluent in Italian and Spanish.

Annetje castillo

Annetje just returned from seven years in her native Holland where she ran the most successful Salsa studio Club Asi. She also is the promoter of the European Salsa Congress, and runs the biggest European internet Salsa video site. In addition Anna is highly trained in Argentine Tango, as well as Ballroom, and other dances. Before she went to Europe she was at Let's Dance L.A and taught the first Lambada workshop in the United States. In addition Anna speaks 7 languages! She also appeared in The Mambo Kings. She has a daughter Nadia.
